Every year, the Automotive Testing Expo Europe brings together leading manufacturers, engineers and technology suppliers from across the automotive industry to showcase the latest advances in vehicle testing, validation and quality assurance. Held in Stuttgart, Germany, the exhibition is Europe's largest event dedicated to automotive testing, covering everything from crash testing and durability testing through to NVH, autonomous vehicle development, battery testing and occupant comfort.

This year's exhibition, held from 23rd–25th June, provided another excellent opportunity for the Interface Force team to strengthen relationships with customers, suppliers and international colleagues while keeping up to date with the latest developments shaping the automotive testing industry.

Colleagues Robin, Ben and I travelled to Stuttgart to support the Interface.de stand, where we met with both existing and prospective customers from a number of overseas markets. The team discussed a wide range of current engineering projects and explored how our measurement solutions could help customers overcome complex testing challenges.

One of the greatest benefits of attending international exhibitions such as Automotive Testing Expo is the opportunity to spend time face-to-face with potential and existing clients, as well as colleagues from across the global Interface network. The event was particularly valuable for Ben, who was attending for the first time and was able to meet many of the European distributors and colleagues from Europe and the United States.

We also held productive discussions with Interface distributors from Germany, Italy and France, sharing experiences, exchanging ideas and discussing common business opportunities and challenges across our respective markets.

In addition, the exhibition provided valuable time with several of our key suppliers, including Interface, GP50 and XSensor. These meetings offered important updates on quality control improvements, new product developments, manufacturing processes, organisational changes and future technology roadmaps, helping ensure that we continue to provide customers with the latest measurement solutions and technical expertise.

Overall, Automotive Testing Expo Europe 2026 proved to be another highly worthwhile event. Beyond the valuable business discussions, it was also an excellent opportunity to strengthen international relationships, exchange knowledge and enjoy a few days in Stuttgart—where temperatures reached a very warm 38°C, making the occasional cold beer particularly welcome!
