The Interface Model 9850 Rotary Torque & Multi-Channel Digital Display Indicator is a highly advanced, indicator engineered to handle multiple independent force, weight, and torque data streams simultaneously. Purpose-built for industrial control cabinet layouts, bench-top laboratory test cells, and automated processing lines. The 9850 has an ultra-fast 2000 Hz internal data sampling conversion rate, the indicator provides true, real-time peak and valley force monitoring, making it a powerful choice for dynamic test stands and quality control auditing.
A core operational advantage of the 9850 architecture is its intelligent, field-expandable modular dual-slot input card configuration. Rather than locking you into a single sensor type, the instrument can be outfitted with up to 7 distinct types of input cards across its available slots. This allows the terminal to seamlessly read and power traditional DC mV/V strain gauges, high-frequency AC mV/V rotary transformer torque sensors, unipolar voltage lines (±5V/±10V), 4-20mA current loops, frequency-based speed pickups, encoders, or LVDT position tracking sensor.To eliminate complex external computing hardware, the 9850 features an integrated internal mathematical channel engine. This processing core can automatically calculate and display secondary live variables, such as calculated motor horsepower, unit conversions, or the instantaneous sum, difference, and ratio between your active sensor inputs.
