Interface 1216 Axial-Torsion 2-Axis Load Cell
The Interface 1216 Axial-Torsion 2-Axis Load Cell is a high-performance multi-axis force sensor precision-engineered to record axial thrust loads and torsional torque simultaneously within a single, low-profile housing. Serving as the compact, fatigue-rated foundation of Interface's dual-axis force and torque family, the Model 1216 incorporates independent full bridges for each channel.
This optimised internal architecture completely isolates the two signal paths, allowing either channel to be monitored independently without the need for complex external software matrix manipulation or mathematical adjustments. Built with an elite internal framework that delivers extreme extraneous load resistance, the cell heavily suppresses bending moments and side forces to provide an exceptionally low crosstalk rating (maximum error down to ±0.04% FS on the axial bridge). Standard measurement envelopes track scaled engineering capacities from 250 lbf to 2,000 lbf (1.11 kN to 8.9 kN) for axial push-pull force, and 125 lbf-in to 1,000 lbf-in (14.1 Nm to 113 Nm) for rotational torque. Housed in a durable, black alloy steel enclosure with standard bolt configurations, it serves as a premier solution for high-cycle material evaluations, consumer tech quality diagnostics, and product validation frames.
