GP:50 Model 7901 Space Heritage Flow-Thru Pressure Transducer
The GP:50 Model 7901 Space Heritage Flow-Thru Pressure Transducer is an ultra-lightweight, high-accuracy inline fluid sensor engineered to deliver pristine pressure data inside critical space propulsion and aviation flight systems. Featuring a unique flow-through internal geometry, the Model 7901 inserts directly into the fluid line path. This design eliminates the internal dead volume, stagnant fluid pockets, and flow turbulence common to standard thread-in pressure ports. It is heavily used for miniature satellite propulsion systems, launch vehicle manifolds and UAV tactical missiles.
Weighing less than 55 grams (1.9 oz), this compact transducer has been designed for the tightest of environments and for applications with weight restrictions. To meet the space industries requirements , the 7901 can be configured with premium "S" Class space-qualified electronics certified to survive up to 100 KRAD radiation exposure. The sensor isolates data streams from severe background vehicle interference by utilising internal Faraday cage filtering, yielding an exceptionally clean output with less than 3mV peak-to-peak signal noise. Constructed with no internal fluid fills, the dry-sensor matrix is fully qualified to meet rigorous MIL-STD-810 requirements for heavy structural shock and multi-axis vibration.
