Interface 1516 Axial-Torsion 2-Axis Load Cell
The Interface 1516 Axial-Torsion 2-Axis Load Cell is a high-performance, low-profile multi-axis force sensor custom-engineered to record axial thrust loads and torsional torque simultaneously within a single compact housing. Operating symmetrically across tension, compression, clockwise, and counter-clockwise vectors, the Model 1516 utilises independent full bridges for each channel.
This optimised internal architecture completely isolates the two signal paths, providing clean, independent outputs that require no complex external matrix calculations or mathematical adjustments. Built to deliver exceptional extraneous load resistance, the cell heavily suppresses bending moments and side forces, resulting in an incredibly low crosstalk rating of 1% FS or less. The sensor handles scaled engineering capacities ranging from 100 lbf for axial forces, and 50 lbf-in for torque limits. Housed in a durable alloy steel enclosure with standard thread layouts, it serves as a premier solution for high-cycle material evaluations, component lifecycle testing, and medical research applications.
