Interface Model AT101 Axial Torsion 0.5kN/5Nm Dual-Axis Transducer

The Interface Model AT101 Axial Torsion Force & Torque Transducer is a highly sensitive, dual-axis reaction sensor engineered to measure low-to-medium axial forces and static reaction torques simultaneously within a single mechanical footprint. Specifically optimized for low-capacity materials testing, medical device prototyping, micro-robotics validation, and fine assembly auditing, this non-rotating transducer handles a dedicated 0.5 kN (500 N) axial force capacity alongside 5 Nm of torque. It is widely used across UK research institutions and laboratory benches for product ergonomics profiling and precision component testing where subtle multi-component forces must be perfectly isolated.

Featuring an ultra-rigid internal design despite its lower capacity tracking envelope, the AT101 allows mechanical engineers to record independent tensile/compressive loads and rotational twisting forces down a single structural axis. By utilising high-fidelity internal strain gauge networks, the sensor achieves exceptional cross-talk isolation, ensuring that axial thrust forces do not bleed into or distort your reaction torque metrics.

  • Records up to 0.5 kN of tension/compression force and 5 Nm of reaction torque concurrently through a unified body.
  • Static reaction sensor design is perfectly optimized for auditing components, fasteners, and low-RPM actuators.
  • Other capacities available

  • Internal Shunt Resistor 100% output
  • Dual DFI-05 Indicators
  • AT101 Force & Torque Transducer
  • NIST Traceable calibration certificate
  • Mating Connector
