The Me-Systeme 6A Series Multi-Axis Force & Torque Load Cell is a high-performance 6 axis load cell operating as a unified, space-saving measurement system, this 6-axis sensor maps three perpendicular forces alongside three concurrent rotational moments. The engineering architecture of the 6A Series incorporates six independent, fully temperature-compensated strain gauge bridges that broadcast raw outputs across six independent channels. It is highly used across the UK for automated robotic tool-flange feedback, biomechanical orthopaedic research gait tracking, aerospace wind tunnel balance profiling, and dynamic automotive structural testing.
Because multi-axis loading triggers natural complex stresses within large structures, each sensor relies on a supplied 36 coefficient calibration matrix to maintain an exceptionally tight crosstalk specification of just ±1% typical. Offered in 10+ distinct structural sizes, standard alloy configurations feature robust IP67 environmental sealing, while specialised IP68 hermetically sealed, fully submersible variations can be custom-ordered to withstand dynamic ocean wave-tank testing or deep subsea applications.
