XSensor's X3 Pro Wiper Blade System offers the design and product test engineer the ability to easily and quickly measure and profile the contact area of a wiper blade and several points on a vehicle's windscreen. Contact areas can be quickly measured and compared with previous measurements, between new and existing or competitor product, speeding up product development. Results can also be compared to production line data to ensure quality
The XSensor’s X3 Wiper Blade system is designed to be used as quality assurance and design tool. The Wiper Blade system measures the wiper blade’s linear force as it is applied on a wind screen. The wiper blade sensor offers the reliable, consistent and repeatable measurement tool that can accurately asses pressure distribution at the wipe blade interface
The X3 Wiper Blade system can also be used for evaluation of new wiper designs and construction. These aspects can assessed based on wind shield curvature. Design data can also be compared to production line data to ensure the end product continues to meet design specification.
